1-on-1 Managed Coaching

Private coaching with me directly. Your constraints mapped in full, your plan built and rebuilt around them, and your week reviewed by a person rather than an algorithm. Includes full access to the Applied Sports Science curriculum. Six and twelve month engagements. Application required, and I take a limited number of clients at any one time so that the coaching stays personal.

12 questions, about nine minutes. You receive a written assessment of what is actually limiting your progress before we ever speak.

The Method

Constraint-First Coaching™

Every other approach starts with the goal and discovers your constraints later, usually in week five, usually when the plan breaks. Constraint-First Coaching inverts that order. Your constraints are documented first, in detail, and the plan is built as the only structure that survives them. This is not a softer approach. It is a more accurate one, and it is the reason clients here are still training in month nine.

Pillar 01

The Constraint Map

Before a single exercise or meal is prescribed, we document how your life actually runs. Not your goals. Your operating conditions.

How it works

How often you fly and where. How many meals a week somebody else chooses. Whether your schedule holds a shape or changes weekly. What your household eats and what you are expected to eat with them. Which joints have opinions. What your sleep floor is on a bad week. What you have already tried and exactly which week it failed in.

This produces a written map of the twelve to fifteen forces that will act on any plan you are given. Most coaches never build one. It is the reason most plans are wrong before the first session.

Pillar 02

Minimum Effective Architecture

The plan is then built to your floor, not your ceiling.

How it works

The question is never "what is the optimal program". The optimal program is easy to write and you have probably already been given one. The question is "what is the smallest structure that still produces the result on your worst realistic week", because that is the week that decides whether you are still training in March.

In practice this means fewer sessions than you expect, each carrying more weight. It means a nutrition structure with three tiers rather than one, so a controlled day, a restaurant day and a travel day all have a defined shape. A plan executed at 85% for nine months beats a perfect plan executed at 40% for six weeks, every time, and by a margin that is not close.

Pillar 03

The Adaptation Protocol

When a week breaks, the plan is rebuilt. You are not.

How it works

Missed sessions do not accumulate as debt to be repaid. They re-sequence, and the following week is issued against where you actually are. A travel block triggers a substitution set built for whatever equipment the hotel has, including none. A restaurant meal is planned into the week in advance rather than confessed to afterwards.

This runs on software built specifically for it, over 15 years of coaching, and it is the part that no template and no general-purpose app can reproduce. Adaptation is not a feature added to a program. It is the thing the program is made of.

How to start

The Constraint Review

Coaching begins with a written diagnosis, not a sales call. This is the same intake process every client here has been through, and you receive the assessment whether or not we go any further.

Step 01

You complete the Constraint Review

Ten steps, about seven minutes. It asks about your goals, your body, your medical background and your training history, and then about the things almost nobody asks: how often you travel, how many meals a week somebody else chooses, whether your schedule holds its shape, and which joints have a history. Nothing is timed and you can stop and return.

Step 02

You receive a written assessment

Not a score, not a generic report, not a sales document. A written analysis naming the specific constraints that will act on any plan you follow, the one that is currently limiting you most, and what a realistic structure around it looks like. This arrives regardless of whether you become a client, and it is yours to use however you want, including with another coach.

Step 03

If it is a fit, we speak for 30 minutes

A scheduled call, with the assessment already in front of both of us. Not a discovery call and not a pitch. We go through what the review found, I tell you honestly whether I think I can help, and if I can I tell you exactly what the engagement involves and what it costs. If I do not think I am the right person, I will say so on that call and point you somewhere better.

I do not accept every application. Managed coaching is a limited-capacity service and it works only for people who are ready to hand the problem over and follow a structure. If you want a program to run yourself, the Academy is a better and considerably cheaper answer, and I would rather tell you that now than three weeks into an engagement.

Getting started

Who is AmiFit coaching for?

AmiFit works with professionals, business owners, parents and committed individuals who want training and nutrition built around their lives. Beginners and experienced trainees can both start with an assessment; your background helps determine the approach.

What happens during the AmiFit assessment?

You share your goals, training history, food preferences, schedule and current circumstances. These details establish a starting point for a conversation about the right approach. The assessment takes about seven minutes and does not request payment details.

Do I need to be fit before I begin?

No. Your current ability is a starting point, not an entry requirement. Tell us what you can comfortably do, what you have tried before and where you need support.

What happens after I complete the assessment?

Your answers provide context for the next conversation and your individual plan. Discuss suitability, the coaching format, support and pricing before deciding whether to proceed.

Fat loss & everyday nutrition

Can my plan include rice?

Yes. Your familiar meals belong in the planning conversation. The aim is a workable overall eating pattern, with portions and meal composition considered alongside your goal, rather than automatically removing rice.

Can I keep eating Malaysian or South Asian food?

Food culture, family meals and dining habits are part of your assessment. Tell us what you normally eat so the nutrition structure can be built around realistic choices instead of a menu that does not fit your household.

Do I have to count calories?

Discuss a tracking approach that you can use consistently. Some people prefer detailed food records; others need a simpler structure. Your preferences and the feedback needed to review progress guide that decision.

Do I need supplements or a special meal replacement?

Do not assume that you need to buy supplements before starting. The initial conversation focuses on your training, food and routine. Mention anything you already take, and direct medication or medical supplement questions to your clinician.

Training & your goals

Can I train at home instead of a gym?

Your available equipment and training space are part of the assessment. A home-based structure can be discussed alongside your goal and starting point; describe what you have rather than buying equipment in advance.

How many days a week will I need to train?

There is no single schedule for every client. The plan needs to account for your goal, experience, recovery and actual availability. Be honest about the time you can consistently protect.

Can coaching help me gain weight or build muscle?

Healthy weight gain, strength and physique development are among the goals we plan around. Training and nutrition are considered together, with the structure adapted to your history, appetite and routine.

What does body toning and reshaping mean at AmiFit?

It describes a goal around body shape, strength and confidence. We discuss what you want to change and use that to guide training and nutrition, rather than treating toning as a separate kind of exercise or promising a specific appearance.

Busy weeks, travel & Ramadan

Does coaching work with frequent business travel?

Your schedule and available equipment are part of the assessment. We use them to shape a workable training and nutrition structure, then review it as your circumstances change. Share likely travel before the plan is designed.

What if I only have short windows to exercise?

Tell us your genuine time limit. The coaching conversation should establish a realistic structure and what it can support. A plan you can follow through an ordinary busy week is more useful than an ideal schedule you cannot keep.

What happens if I miss sessions or have a difficult week?

Report what happened so the next step reflects your actual week. Workload, travel, family responsibilities and recovery are useful feedback for adjusting the plan, rather than reasons to hide a gap in your training.

Can my coaching plan account for Ramadan?

Let us know that you are fasting so training availability, meal timing, sleep and your routine can be discussed. Individual circumstances matter. If you have a medical condition or questions about whether fasting is suitable, consult your clinician.

Online coaching & ongoing support

How does online fitness coaching work?

You begin by sharing your starting point and circumstances. Training and nutrition are designed around that information, then completed sessions, progress and your feedback inform the next adjustment. Confirm the contact and review arrangements for your chosen service.

Is AmiFit available outside Malaysia?

AmiFit is based in Kuala Lumpur and works with people worldwide. The existing coaching community spans nine countries. Discuss your location, time zone and preferred format when you enquire.

How frequently will my programme be adjusted?

Adjustments should follow your response and circumstances, rather than changing exercises simply for novelty. Confirm review frequency and what to share between reviews when you agree your coaching arrangement.

What is different from following a generic workout app?

AmiFit brings your training, nutrition, schedule and feedback into a personal coaching relationship. The value is in the reasoning behind your plan and its ongoing review, with the exact support determined by the service you choose.

Women, ageing & individual needs

Can women work with AmiFit?

Yes. Your goals, experience, preferences and stage of life belong in the assessment. Share any circumstances that affect your training so suitability and the right level of support can be discussed.

Can I enquire about prenatal or postnatal training?

Yes, and please mention pregnancy, recent birth and any clinical guidance at the outset. A suitability conversation comes before a plan. Exercise coaching does not replace care from your maternity team or other healthcare professionals.

What does anti-aging and body function coaching focus on?

The focus is staying strong and capable in daily life: training, movement, consistency and an approach suited to your starting point. The programme name is not a promise to reverse ageing or treat an age-related condition.

Can I start if I have an injury or a health condition?

Tell us about your history and any restrictions from your healthcare team before starting. Suitability may depend on medical clearance or specialist support. AmiFit does not diagnose pain, provide rehabilitation treatment or replace a clinician.

Programmes, pricing & education

Which of the six programmes should I choose?

Use your main goal as the starting point: Lose Fat, Gain Healthy Weight, Look Hot, Body Toning & Reshaping, Physique Upgrade, or Anti-aging & Body Function. You do not need to diagnose your needs yourself; the assessment helps clarify the direction.

How much does coaching cost?

Pricing depends on the service and format. Visit the coaching page for the current options, then confirm the scope, currency and terms for the arrangement you want. The free assessment itself does not request payment details.

How are coaching and education different?

Coaching gives you a programme and personal support in applying it. The Become Your Own Trainer Academy develops your own understanding. Certification preparation supports people working towards a professional qualification.

Which professional certifications can I prepare for?

AmiFit offers preparation pathways for NASM, ACE, NSCA, ACSM, NCSF and NFPT. Consult the certification page for the current course details. Preparation through AmiFit is separate from the awarding organisation and its examination requirements.

Your coach & the Learn library

Who is my coach?

Asm Rashed Kamal is the founder of AmiFit and a NASM Certified Personal Trainer. His work connects personal coaching, trainer education and the learning resources behind AmiFit. The coach page provides more background.

What experience does AmiFit bring?

The existing AmiFit coaching record includes more than 15 years of coaching, over 1,200 clients and a community across nine countries. Experience informs the decisions in a plan; it does not guarantee that every person will achieve the same outcome.

What is the AmiFit Learn system?

Learn is a connected knowledge library covering training, nutrition and the science that informs fitness decisions. The public prospectus explains its scope and access options. It is educational material, not a substitute for medical advice.

Do I need to study the Learn library to receive coaching?

The coaching relationship is built around applying a plan in your life. Learn gives you a way to explore the reasoning in more depth. Discuss your interest and access with your coach; it is a different pathway from preparing for a professional exam.

Progress, privacy & expectations

How will we track my progress?

The measures should reflect your goal and circumstances. Completed training, your feedback and changes over time help guide the review. Agree which records are useful and manageable instead of assuming the scale is the only measure.

Will I get the same results as the transformation photos?

No individual outcome can be promised from another person’s photographs. Your starting point, circumstances and consistency affect progress. The gallery shows real client journeys, with that variation made clear alongside the images.

How is my assessment draft saved?

The assessment keeps a draft in the browser you use, so you can return on that device. It is not a cross-device backup. On a shared device, consider who else can access the browser, and avoid leaving sensitive details in an unfinished draft.

Can I discuss questions before applying?

Yes. Use the WhatsApp link to ask about the service or your circumstances before committing. For a medical question, diagnosis or treatment decision, contact a qualified healthcare professional instead of relying on a coaching enquiry.

You have already tried the version that ignores your life.

If you have read this far, you likely recognised at least one of the three failure modes, and probably your own week in one of the case studies. The next step is not a purchase and it is not a call. It is ten steps and a written assessment of what is actually holding you back, which you keep either way.
